This year we bit the bullet and joined the local CSA.  This week, we received a TON of produce!  Tomatoes, swiss chard and beets, OH MY!!
The first thing I made was something I remember from my childhood:

My mom would seldom make it, so I cherished it everytime she did.  

Slice a tomato about 1/4 inch thick, alternate with mozzarella sliced the same.  I put mine on a bed of fresh basil for taste.  Then sprinkle balsamic dressing on it to taste.  Let chill to infuse flavors in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
